Which is better? Indian Prefold Diaper or Chinese Prefold?

What are the pros and cons of each and which is better overall?

After being washed and dried 5898594803 times- I don’t think there’s any diference at all. I don’t really see a difference in absorbancy either. Maybe I just don’t pay close enough attention- there may be a slight difference but how much can a piece of cloth with a few layers actually hold? But on a ‘visual note’ I’d take unbleached so you don’t get any staining.
Oh let me add that the stiching on the tops and bottoms of my indian prefolds don’t seem as strong and have ‘frayed’ more then the chinese. I’ve heard chinese will last a lot longer- but I think they’re talking in terms of years and years. Both are going to last a couple of kids if needed.

What’s the bulk comparison between AIO, Pocket, and Prefold Diapers?

Im new at the cloth diapers. Right now I’m using prefolds with the ecobum brand covers. I just started using them today on my 4 week old son. I am very turned off by how bulky they are. They make him look like a pear in a onsie, at none of his pants will even go on. Are the pocet or Aio Diapers thinner?

Pockets are way thinner than prefolds! I used prefolds with my first baby, you get used to how big the diapers are, you just have to be selective with the clothes you buy. If you want, pick up a few pockets and AIOs, and see if you like them better. I lucked out and got a great deal on second hand pocket diapers, paid less than half price for them. I still use prefolds when my pockets are in the wash, or when my son has a rash and needs a heavy diaper cream that will stain the pockets.

Cloth Diapers-What are the different types?

What are the diapers? Cloth diapers come in many forms and is now and that can be very confusing. There are flat cloth diapers, prefolds, doublers, cloth diapers, fitted diapers, cloth covered in a cloth diapers, diaper bag, and Inserts. Almost all these changes to the system layers come in a variety of materials such as hemp, cotton, wool, bamboo and wool. It is not surprising people get disposable products as a first option, there is less variety.

Let's start with flat diapers. Cloth diapers are just one piece flat square or rectangular hardware that you can turn any size to fit around your newborn baby or toddler. They do not have any attachments bolt or layers herein may be used, or a diaper cover to keep up. Flat cloth diapers can be uncomfortable for most types But cloth diapers are more economical because it can be used with any age of your child and can still be used for potty training at night. Nice to have in their diaper bags, because they also can be used as inserts, wipes, bibs, changing mats and once you may need a rag around.

Flat cloth nappies can come in different materials and all have different degrees of absorption. Note that the layers of woven cotton flannel, located in most major stores, but not more absorbent than you have to buy more of what is going to change more often. I initially these for my son, but finds it difficult to fold correctly, as it grew. Also became stronger than it was hard to get everything in place before having to turn or move. So I bought prefolds next.

Prefolds cloth or folded material is a rectangular piece that has many layers to it and it is sewn. Usually, the middle section is also absorbent insert sewn in place. cloth diaper covers are the only ones that can be reused several times before they need washing, if they are dirty or an odor. cloth diaper covers may come with Velcro or snaps, such as cloth Diapers Covers Milano baby, Bummis Bummis Super Brite Super Whisper Wrap o. These covers can come in different fabrics such as vinyl (PVC), polyurethane laminate (PUL), and nylon. Vinyl is no longer recommended because they do not wash and can seep into the skin of his son. PUL is a laminate that is applied in polyester or cotton to make the rain cover. They are machine washable and can be dry. They stand the test of time and can be used for many years. nylon cloth diapers are similar to PUL, but should not go in the dryer. These two elements are a much better alternative to vinyl because of its breathable and softer qualities.
