Orders are processed and shipped once each week. Products that are made to order may take up to ten days to ship. Holidays and inclement weather will sometimes delay order processing.
If you find a defect in any Affordable Diapers product, please return it within sixty days. Used items may be exchanged for an item of equal value. Unused items may be returned for any reason within sixty days of purchase for a full refund of the purchase price.
Affordable Diapers wool items are made from reclaimed sweaters. The source for most of these sweaters are thrift stores such as the DAV, the Salvation Army, and Goodwill Industries. Wool sweaters are carefully checked for holes, shaved, and made into diaper covers. They are not washed unless they need to be felted. Only softer sweaters are chosen, mostly lambswool and merino wool fabrics. Blended fibers usually function as well as 100% wool, but they may need to be washed more often. A higher percentage of synthetic fibers increases the likelihood that a product will be machine washable. Hand washing is recommended as the safest way to preserve your wool items.
Affordable Diapers fleece items are made from a specialty performance fleece. The pants and shorts are made with a thick double velour fleece. The wraps are made with a thin, stretchy fleece that has been treated with a waterproof coating. To avoid fuzz and lint on your fleece items, you may want to wash them separate from diapers and towels.
