How many packs of Diapers in each size should I get?
For my baby shower I have most baby items from hand-me-downs but my family really wanted to throw me a shower. I need diapers but how many in each size should I ask for on my list. I have a lot of family so I know they’ll end up getting just about everything on the list. The only things on my list are:
carseat/stroller
diapers/wipes
diaper bag
baby towels & rags
baby socks
baby book
small items-
desitin
qtips
alcohol
vaseline
thermometer
lotion
shampoo
soap
brush
head & shoulders for cradle cap
baby tylenol
mylicon drops
poly-vi-sol baby vitamins
My son was about 8 lbs when he was born.
Well, how many lbs and weeks will your baby be born at? If your baby is born premature at 4 lbs or on time but small at 6 lb, or on time but 10 lbs, it makes a difference.
I would get 200 newborn diapers, 300 size 1, 300 size 2, 1000 size 3, and not worry about other sizes… If you don’t open the packs most stores will let you exchange for another size of the same brand
Also why do you need head and shoulders for cradle cap? It is a lot safer for baby if you just use baby oil.
