the best I think are pampers swaddlers for newborns. Right now, when you buy a pack of marked pampers diapers you’re buying one life saving vaccine for a child in other countries who really needs it!! So in my opinion it’s Pampers!! What a great feeling to know you’re helping somone else’s baby somewhere in the world!

What “little” things are good to have for a newborn?
Like the small stuff to put on my “still need to get” list…things like a wipe holder to go in the diaper bag, baby rags for when he can get a bath, baby nail clippers, etc.

‘piddle pad’ and ‘swaddle me’ s by kiddopotamus; both can be gotten at babies r us; the pad sits under baby in car seat, bouncer, etc so if there is a diaper blowout, u can wash it instead of having to take things apart and clean them , which is a real pain, and the swaddlers made my gal sleep great, they are only ten bucks and they can’t kick them off or startle themselves awake….
