What size (in months) are small (S), baby clothes by Carter just one year. ?

I got some clothes for babies who are one year of the Carter brand. They are all small. I need to know what sizes are in months. Carter Clothing size are generally in the months and NB, 3, 6, 9, etc. I can not stand baby clothes because they are subject to a fine crown layers I as a gift and will not participate until I need!
