So Long Adult Diapers – The Bulky Kind

So long bulky adult diapers! Hello! to environmental awareness shaking hands with new technology.  These new, streamlined adult diapers make your life easier. What you choose for yourself, or your client, relies on:

  • Comfort
  • Cost
  • Is the issue light, moderate or heavy incontinence?
  • Bowel or Urine incontinence (or both)?
  • Is overnight protection required?
  • Odor control?
  • Ease of use?

INCONTINENCE LINERS & BLADDER CONTROL PADS
Raise your hands (or not!) if you’ve tried using a sanitary pad for light/moderate incontinence issues? Well, if you have, you’re not alone. What you’ve found out the hard way is that maxi & mini-pads were not designed for incontinence use.

Bladder Control Pads & Incontinence Liners
Some people with light incontinence may mistakenly think they have to wear adult diapers. Not so!  Incontinence liners & bladder control pads are designed to be exceedingly more absorbent & have the added feature of a waterproof backing. There are both disposable & cloth incontinence liners & bladder control pads. With new technology, some companies have even made them flushable & compostable!

    ADULT BRIEFS & ADULT DIAPERS
For moderate/heavy incontinence more absorbent incontinence products are required, namely adult diapers or adult briefs. These are available in disposable or cloth versions, & sized from XS to XXXL. We even found a company in Australia that makes them compostable & flushable! That’s thinking environmentally! We can’t wait to find those in the N. American market!

Compared to ‘diapers’ of years past, today’s adult briefs & adult diapers are much less bulky – but hold more! Many have adjustable fit features that allow them to be adjusted to fit everyone perfectly. Many have elastic leg gathers which improve fit & stop urine leakage. Another benefit of some is air flow technology, which helps reduce other issues caused by incontinence.

How to keep the odor down – adult diapers?

I wear adult diapers, and I was wondering what are some tips for keeping the smell down? I don’t want to be rude, and I don’t always notice as much as other people. My girlfriend, has pointed out to me that I stink and should go change, when I don’t smell anything.

Shizzy is correct, but left out a key word. It’s “Glade Butt-plug Ins.”
I’m sure that was an oversight.
