Every mother wants the best for her child. However, this does not mean that they need to spend a fortune to shop for their baby. There are many great women and family oriented websites and blogs that are continually reviewing the latest products and finding great deals from various vendors. They can even opt to keep track of the hottest products available at competitive prices online.
Given the plethora of infant products available in the market, choosing the right one can be overwhelming. But before you buy, make sure to look at award winning products like swaddle blankets and nursing pillows. They are a must have for every mother.
Swaddle blankets are specifically designed for swaddling. They aid the process of swaddling. Incidentally, swaddling refers to the practice of wrapping up infants in swaddling cloths or blankets. Swaddling your baby for the first time can be a nerve wracking experience. A swaddling blanket can make your job easier. Swaddling blankets are better than thick baby blankets. Cotton muslin is commonly used to make swaddle blankets. It helps regulate the body temperature of your infant and helps your baby sleep better. Mothers can wrap up their babies in the right way keeping them snuggly and warm.
Swaddling blankets do not restrain total body movement. Your baby will sleep well without experiencing any kind of discomfort. These blankets are soothing blankets! They have received awards on some websites including the iParenting Awards. This is definitely no mean feat. Mothers can choose from a variety of award winning baby products including Huggies jeans diapers, grass drying rack and eco-ditty snack bags. The eco ditty snack bag is highly functional and trendy. Keeping diapers on a 21 month old!?
Ok, My daughter will be 21 months old in about a week. Im having problems keeping pants; jeans; sleepers any kind of clothes on her. Shes now started taking her diaper off. I bet I have to put it on her like 5 times a day because she doesn’t wont to wear it. Im going to start potty training her as soon as she gets over her cold. Does anyone have any tips on how I can make her wear her clothes, and diapers?
I have tried putting her in time out, telling her no, giving her a smack on the hand and she just says no mom off. any advice thanks much.
Most kids find the tabs to the diaper around this age and remove it. I understand the frustration. My first would wait till I was out of the room and remove her diaper and jump on it causing it to tear and the filling to fly everywhere. Or she would paint in the poop that was in it. No matter how hard I tried to watch for it she always managed to do it if I was on the phone or cooking dinner or other wise distracted. Along with aggravating it was hard to go through cause as a parent I knew it was a very unsanitary thing for her to do. I tried everything from duct taping the tabs down to saying no firmly and even tried time out. But she still got it off every time I was looking the other way.
Along came my second child and it started all over again. One day I was expressing my anger over the situation to my friend. She laughed and said have you tried putting the diaper on backwards? Hmmm no I hadn’t….. Next time I put a diaper on I did just that placing them on their belly and putting the tabs to the back. It worked! They would try to find the tabs and try to find the tabs and couldn’t find them, because they were always looking where they used to be. I did it that way with all my other kids when they started removing their diapers. Funny they never found the tabs in the back. I think because the tabs were always in the front and then when they weren’t there they eventually gave up looking for them.
I don’t doubt that a child could still figure out how to get it off but I know that most of mine lost interest before they figured it out. I think it helps that they can’t see behind them so they don’t make the connection that you are putting the tabs on back there. But children lose interest fast in something that small when there is so many things in their world to explore and try. It is definitely worth a shot and if nothing else will buy you at least a break from them ripping off the diaper even if yours does figure it out in the end.
