Does anyone use washable Diapers for their baby?
I’m pregnant with my first. (Due Sept 8, 2004) I was looking at 1 of 5 baby magazines, getting overwhelmed, and I saw some diapers that are reusable, you know washable with snaps and everything.
I am pro environmental to a point. We’ve all seen the poopy disposable diaper in the parking lot. I’m sorry and I don’t mean to judge. But SERIOUSLY, why can’t you dump out your grocery/shopping bag that you JUST came out of the store with and put the dirty diaper in it until you get home??!!
I do not want to contribute to the golbal pile of poopy diapers that is being built, as I type, if I don’t have to. Sigh… OK…I’m done…I think you get it.
I just wondered if any of you great Mommies out there are using them or have tried them… Even a diaper service. How is that going for you and how does that work?
Any suggestions or advice?

I’ve gotten some Bum genius and Blue Penguin diapers and I really like them, but they don’t come in XL sizes and my 1 1/2 year old has outgrown his large and all-in-one diapers. Does anyone know of a good brand that comes in larger sizes, for a child thats 30-35+ lbs?
