Should I Use Diapers Pull Ups or Goodnites For Bed Wetting?

My child is 7 and an every night bed wetter.
The doctor said except for using a drug called DDAVP, that she has an underdeveloped bladder and time is about the best cure.
I use cloth and plastic pants on her right now.
I got a couple regular diapers (size 7 pampers) to try from a friend.
I compared the prices and the Pull Ups and Goodnites cost a lot more than regular diapers.
I asked her if it bother her and she won’t talk about it either way.
The cloth diapers and plastic pants don’t seem to be an issue either except I’d like something I don’t have to wash and dry.
Would a child that age care (or even know the difference) if they wore diapers or Pull Ups?

My child is 5 and is sensitive to his Pulls Up NOT being called “diapers.” He has a toddler sibling, so this reinforces to him that “babies wear diapers.”

Except for sleepovers, he doesn’t mind the Pull Ups. But we call then “training pants” and he’s happier with that than “diapers.”

If you want to go the diapers route, I’d suggest continuing to call them something else like “night pants” or something. At 7, she’s likely got it figured out anyway, but no sense in making her feel bad by calling the diapers. Also, since she can likely read, you’ll need to be sensitive to dropping a package of diapers in her room.

Lastly, be aware that because diapers are decorated differently and close differently from Pull Ups, they will appear more babyish. And, since you haven’t used Pull Ups yet, she may see THOSE as being too close to diapers.

Only you know your daughter, but I’d say that it worth a few extra dollars to not make her feel bad about what is a medical condition.

daily diapers story page
can anyone tell me what pages are these quotes on? it is from the Hardball book by Chris Matthews?

“Better to have them p….n’ inside the tent than outside p….n’ in”

“He’s not going to win. It’s a Republican district. He’d be better for us if he loses.
He’ll work for me. He’ll bring his organization with him.”

“Florida Senator, Lawton Chiles, rejected the well-tailored dark blue suit so fashionable in DC. ‘When I dress like that, no on comes up to me in the airport to say hello.’”

“JFK would call 5 or 6…LBJ would take 19 names and call them all.”

“’Cry Baby’, screamed the headlines of the New York Daily News above a picture of Newt in Diapers. ‘Newt’s Tantrum: He Closed Down the Government Because Clinton Made Him Sit at the Back of the Plane.’”

10.“The purpose of the war room was not just to respond to Republican attacks…It was to respond to them fast, even before they were broadcasted or published, when the lead of the story was still rolling around in the reporter’s mind…”

All the sites I brought up of his quotes don’t have page numbers. You may want to check his website!

Baby shower favors using real diapers?

Okay, so I was asked to make the favors for my SIL’s baby shower. I made them for her 1st shower and now she’s having another baby. I have a lot of diapers I’m using to make a diaper cake and have a lot of newborn size pampers swaddlers diapers left over. Can anyone think of a creative, inexpensive way of using this as a baby shower favor? Something I could put in them that would fill them or something? Creative way to package them? Thanks for your creative opinions!

it may take a lot of effort on your part, but perhaps you could fill a baggy (and wouldn’t it be funny if it was a yellow or brown one?) with candy and other goodies, then wrap them up in the diaper. you could even get some sticker letters (or make cute printable labels on your computer) and put them across the butt.
